    An established urgent care veterinary practice in the Winston-Salem, North Carolina area is seeking an Urgent Care Veterinarian to provide after-hours medical care for canine and feline patients. This role is designed to bridge the gap between daytime general practice and emergency hospitals by delivering timely, high-quality care without overnight shifts or emergency clinic fees.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide medical care for urgent but non-critical cases, including injuries, illnesses, and other time-sensitive conditions

    • Collaborate closely with veterinary technicians and support staff to deliver efficient and compassionate care

    • Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring understanding of treatment options and care plans

    • Maintain accurate medical records using digital systems

    • Support and contribute to a positive, team-oriented clinic culture

     

    Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

    • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) from an accredited program

    • Active or eligible veterinary license in the state of Nevada

    • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills

    • Ability to work efficiently in an urgent care setting

    • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
