    Urgent Care Specialist Veterinary – Greenwood, IN

     

    An established urgent care veterinary practice in the Greenwood, Indiana area is seeking an Urgent Care Veterinarian to provide after-hours care for canine and feline patients. This role is designed to bridge the gap between daytime general practice and emergency hospitals, delivering timely, compassionate care without overnight shifts or emergency-level cost structures.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide relationship-centered medical care to urgent care patients and clients

    • Diagnose and treat common urgent conditions, including wound management, gastrointestinal illness, ear infections, and end-of-life care

    • Collaborate with clinical leadership and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow

    • Maintain accurate and thorough medical records using electronic systems

    • Support team development through mentorship and collaborative training programs

    • Build positive relationships within the practice and the greater Indianapolis community

     

    Qualifications

    • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) from an AVMA-accredited institution (or ECFVG/PAVE equivalent)

    • Active veterinary license in good standing in the state of employment, or ability to obtain licensure

    • Interest or experience in urgent care or same-day medicine

    • Strong communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills
