Urgent Care DVM – Bluffton, SC
A veterinary practice is seeking an experienced veterinarian to join its growing urgent care program. This opportunity is available on a part-time or full-time basis and offers the chance to help develop and expand urgent care services while working alongside an experienced and supportive team.
What You'll Do
- Provide same-day urgent veterinary care for acute illnesses, injuries, and other pressing medical concerns.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of medical and surgical cases.
- Help establish workflows, protocols, and scheduling for expanding urgent care services.
- Build strong relationships with clients and the local community.
- Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff.
- Contribute to the continued development of the urgent care program.
Qualifications
- DVM/VMD degree from an accredited veterinary program.
- Active or eligible veterinary license.
- Prior clinical experience required.
- Comfortable independently managing urgent cases.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate approach to patient and client care.
- Interest in helping develop and grow an urgent care service.
- Open to part-time or full-time scheduling.
