Carbon Health is looking for a Full-Time Center Medical Director (CMD) to join our Sacramento urgent care team. This role offers the opportunity to remain clinically engaged while leading and developing a team of clinicians and helping shape the future of urgent care in the Sacramento community.
As a Center Medical Director, you will partner closely with the Center Manager and Area Medical Director to build a high-performing, collaborative clinical team while maintaining a strong focus on patient care, quality, safety, and patient experience.
Compensation offers are based on factors including education, experience, work history, and geographic location.
Approximately 30 hours per week of direct patient care, allowing you to continue practicing medicine while developing your leadership skills and supporting your clinical team.
Mentor providers, support clinical development, participate in hiring and onboarding, provide meaningful feedback, and help create an environment where clinicians feel supported, empowered, and accountable.
You'll work closely with a Clinic Manager and Area Medical Director, with support around operations, staffing, clinician development, quality improvement, and escalation management.
Help build a strong clinical team while expanding access to high-quality urgent care for patients throughout the Sacramento community.
