What Youll Do:- Perform technically proficient 2D, M-mode, and Doppler cardiac exams on adult and pediatric patients
- Assist cardiologists during exams, measuring and preparing M-modes, and exchanging relevant diagnostic information
- Coordinate activities such as scheduling, patient transport, and billing documentation
- Respond to patient needs and communicate any changes in patient condition to medical staff
- Manage departmental supplies, maintain exam rooms, and log patient records
- Ensure equipment quality control and coordinate repairs when needed
- Participate in departmental and hospital-wide Performance Improvement activities
- Support on-call coverage for emergency echo exams as needed
- Stay current with advancements in Echocardiography and seek to improve skills through mentorship
What You Need:- Valid A.R.D.M.S./CCI registration or registry eligibility, or comparable national accreditation
- State of New Mexico Echo Sonographer License
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional allied health education preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively, work collaboratively, and perform under stress
- Manual dexterity for echocardiogram procedures
- At least 2 years relevant echocardiogram experience preferred
