? Job Opening – Upholstery Sewer | Archdale, NC
? Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
? Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour (based on experience, ability, and productivity)
We are seeking an experienced Upholstery Sewer to join a team in Archdale. This role requires strong sewing skills and the ability to work with a variety of materials in a production environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate industrial sewing machines (Juki and Adler)
- Sew a wide variety of materials including vinyl, fabric, leather, and moisture barrier materials
- Maintain consistent seams on straight lines, curves, and corners
- Match patterns and align stripes (vertical and horizontal)
- Perform top stitching and occasional double-needle sewing
- Maintain consistent stitch count throughout production
- Follow supervisor instructions for seam allowances and production standards
Requirements:
- Upholstery sewing experience preferred (apparel/automotive sewing experience may be considered)
- Experience using Juki and Adler sewing machines
- Ability to work with both thick and thin materials
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to maintain consistency in stitching and seam allowances
- Basic English communication skills required to interact with team and supervisor
