PGS Worldwide is seeking a Senior Organizational Effectiveness Consultant in Falls Church, Virginia for an approximately seven-month hybrid contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This position will partner with senior leaders, HR, and program teams on organizational design, leadership effectiveness, change management, team development, and organizational transformation.
Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of relevant HR, organizational effectiveness, or related experience; or master’s degree with 10+ years.
Advanced organizational-development and consulting experience.
Experience leading organizational interventions from assessment through implementation.
Experience with organization design, leadership effectiveness, team effectiveness, and change management.
Experience leading large-scale organizational change initiatives.
Strong executive consulting, stakeholder-management, facilitation, and presentation skills.
Experience designing and facilitating leadership and team sessions.
Ability to manage multiple complex projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
U.S. citizenship required.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance.
Degree in Organizational Development or a related discipline.
Executive coaching certification or formal coaching training.
Experience as an internal leader or external consultant within a complex, matrixed organization.
HR, Organizational Effectiveness, or Talent Management leadership experience.
Experience with organizational-development, leadership, or team-effectiveness assessment tools and methodologies.
Experience supporting highly technical organizations or workforces.
Advise executives, HR leaders, business leaders, and program managers on organizational effectiveness and change.
Conduct organizational diagnostics through stakeholder interviews, focus groups, assessments, and leadership sessions.
Design and facilitate strategy alignment, team effectiveness, role clarification, and collaboration sessions.
Support organization-design efforts involving roles, decision rights, governance, and operating models.
Develop change-management strategies, stakeholder-engagement plans, and leadership tools.
Translate engagement data, stakeholder feedback, and business information into practical recommendations.
Create executive-level presentations and written materials summarizing findings and recommended actions.
Partner with leaders to implement sustainable organizational and leadership improvements.
