    Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) | Maternity Leave Coverage (Sept–Dec) | Washington

    We’re looking for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to step into a maternity leave assignment (September–December) supporting a preschool caseload of approximately 45 students. This is an on-site role within a school environment designed to help young learners strengthen foundational communication skills that shape lifelong learning.

    In this role, you will be embedded within a collaborative special education ecosystem, delivering high-impact speech-language services that support early developmental growth. You’ll work alongside educators and support staff to help preschool students build confidence in expression, comprehension, and social communication.

    What You’ll Do:
    • Develop clear, data-informed evaluation reports and documentation.
    • Evaluate speech and language abilities using formal and informal assessment tools.
    • Deliver individualized, direct speech-language therapy services to preschool students.
    • Track progress and maintain accurate service records and compliance documentation.
    • Partner with teachers, families, and special education teams to align support strategies.
    • Support early communication development through structured, student-centered intervention.

    Requirements

    • Active or eligible Washington State SLP license and ESA certification.
    • School-based experience preferred, especially in early childhood settings.
    • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
    • Strong background clearance and ability to meet all required screening standards
    • Commitment to in-person service delivery (this is a fully on-site position; teletherapy is not available).
