Location: Remote – DC/MD/VA area strongly preferred
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, 9/80 schedule
Contract Length: Approximately 12 months

We are seeking a University Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Partner to support university relations and early-career recruiting initiatives. This role will focus primarily on recruiting intern and entry-level talent and partnering with hiring managers throughout the full recruitment lifecycle.

The position is remote; however, candidates located in the Washington, DC, Maryland, or Northern Virginia area are strongly preferred due to occasional travel for recruiting events and business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, candidate management, and offer support

  • Recruit intern, entry-level, and early-career talent

  • Partner with hiring managers throughout the assessment and selection process

  • Assess candidates for skills, competencies, and overall position fit

  • Build and maintain strong candidate relationships throughout the recruiting process

  • Advise hiring managers on interviewing and recruiting best practices

  • Manage multiple recruiting priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Utilize recruiting data and market intelligence to support staffing strategies

  • Ensure compliance with established talent acquisition processes and procedures

  • Support university recruiting events and other regional recruiting initiatives as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience in recruiting, sourcing, recruiting support, HR, or a closely related field; OR a Master's degree

  • Experience with full-cycle recruiting

  • Strong communication, organization, and hiring-manager partnership skills

  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority requisitions and projects

  • Ability to occasionally travel within the region for recruiting events

  • U.S. Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

  • University, campus, or early-career recruiting experience

  • Experience recruiting interns and recent graduates

  • Experience working in a high-volume recruiting environment

  • Experience with applicant tracking systems

  • Workday and/or Eightfold experience
