As a Sanitation Worker, you'll support the ongoing sanitation and maintenance of campus facilities. You'll work closely with the campus maintenance team to ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety, creating a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.

What You’ll Do
As a Sanitation Worker, you will be responsible for:

• Performing thorough cleaning and sanitation of campus facilities, including classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Operating cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, carpet steamers, and vacuums to maintain floors and carpets.
• Carrying out general cleaning tasks like dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and wiping down surfaces.
• Restocking supplies in restrooms and shared spaces to uphold hygiene standards.
• Managing trash collection by emptying bins and ensuring proper waste disposal.
• Following safety protocols to prevent accidents and protect everyone on campus.
• Maintaining a tidy, safe environment that supports health and hygiene best practices.

What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Previous experience in cleaning, custodial work, or sanitation (training provided for motivated newcomers).
• Ability to stand for long periods (over 8 hours) and perform physical tasks like bending, stooping, twisting, squatting, and crouching comfortably.
• Strong attention to detail and reliable work ethic.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Physical capability to carry out manual cleaning tasks and lift materials as needed.
