    We are seeking a Validation Specialist to support a data collection project. The primary
    objective is to maintain the integrity of the data collection process by manually operating a
    vehicle, following precise routes, ensuring system uptime, and performing basic hardware
    maintenance in the field under the guidance of the on-shift Validation Lead.
    Key Responsibilities:
    Data Acquisition: Safely operate an EV for up to 8 hours per day, strictly adhering to
    predetermined routes and structured collection protocols.
    Inspection Compliance: Complete comprehensive pre- and post-trip inspections of
    specialized onboard hardware (Cameras, LiDAR, secondary sensors) and submit
    completed logs before deployment and after returning to base.
    First-Line Technical Maintenance: Perform basic physical maintenance (power-cycling
    systems, reseating data connectors, cleaning and clearing sensors) and collaborate with
    the Validation Shift Lead when advanced troubleshooting is required.
    Operational Compliance: Ensure data is logged correctly and uploaded according to
    project requirements and established shift protocols.
    Issue Reporting: Promptly document and report any system anomalies, hardware
    errors, or unique environmental observations directly to the on-shift Validation Shift Lead.
    Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications:
    Driving Record: Valid U.S. Driver's License (3+ years) with a clean driving history.
    Process Discipline: Ability to maintain high levels of focus during repetitive tasks and
    strictly follow complex instructions without deviation.
    Technical Proficiency: Comfort interacting with hardware/software and performing
    basic physical troubleshooting.
    Google Workspace: High proficiency in following and updating structured digital
    documentation.
    Communication: Strong written skills for technical logging and the ability to clearly relay
    hardware issues to the Validation Shift Lead and technical teams.
    Physical Requirements & Availability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and flexibility to work
    variable shift schedules (mornings, evenings, nights, weekends).
    Preferred Experience
    Experience in field data collection, mapping, or fleet operations.
    Background as a Field Technician, IT Support Specialist, or similar hands-on technical
    role.
    Experience operating Electric Vehicles (EVs).
    Basic familiarity with Linux command-line tools
