    We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Marketing Finance Analyst to partner closely with our Marketing, Policy, and Communications teams on end-to-end finance operations across the US&C region. Embedded within the Marketing Operations team and collaborating with Marketing Finance partners, you will play a key role in enabling efficient budget management, financial accuracy, and operational excellence.

    In this role, you will support a broad range of finance-related activities, helping optimize budget tracking, invoicing, and reporting processes to maximize budget utilization and improve operational efficiency. Your ability to build strong cross-functional partnerships with Marketing Operations, Political Law, regional marketing, media & finance teams, manage financial processes, and deliver accurate results against deadlines will be critical to your success.
    What you ll do
    Business partnerships - Work closely with Marketing teams to track finances and manage spend, provide insights as it relates to financial performance and improve processes. Work closely with Political Law and the Policy team to ensure all political spending, including lobbyist payments and political donations, are in compliance with legal review policies.
    Financial Planning & Forecasting:
    Own marketing budget tracking and spend management, ensuring accuracy, financial taxonomy consistency, and alignment to budget. Analyzes variances between actuals, forecast, and plan; use insights to iterate on forecasts and create action. May assist in shifting and transferring budgets, alongside Finance associates. Works closely with accounting to provide input on reporting needs and better understand our actuals.
    Monitor investment shifts and support monthly forecasting and accrual processes, partnering with stakeholders to deliver accurate submissions.
    Interact regularly with Marketing Operations, Marketing Finance and Regional Marketing stakeholders, to maintain supporting documentation and corresponding details to support marketing-related expenses.
    Reporting & Financial Controls
    Assist as needed with month-end reporting and forecast submission for US&C Marketing teams, and ensure accurate inputs into global financial reporting.
    Accurately maintain records of Policy team POs
    Maintain high standards of financial accuracy, governance, and data integrity across all reporting activities.
    Finance Operations
    Serve as the primary point of contact for Marketing finance operations, providing guidance on financial processes, purchase orders, invoicing, and approvals.
    Partner with Marketing and Policy Managers, Procurement, P2P teams, suppliers, and cross-functional stakeholders to resolve finance-related queries and drive timely outcomes.
    Reconcile invoices and receipts against POs to ensure invoices are paid properly and timely, which may require coordinating between external vendors and internal stakeholders.
    Fill in as needed to submit accruals or raise POs on behalf of stakeholders, as needed.
    Process Improvement & Financial Enablement
    Continuously identify and implement opportunities to improve financial processes, increase efficiency, and enhance budget visibility.
    Simplify complex financial concepts and processes, helping build financial acumen and self-sufficiency across the Marketing organization.
    Host training and development sessions - Be the subject matter expert and train a team of Marketing and Policy managers and from across the region on any process updates or developments made as it relates to marketing finance.
    Basic Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
    2+ years of experience in finance, marketing finance, operations, or a related analytical role, ideally within a technology or fast-paced environment.
    Relationship builder - Ability to proactively cultivate strong business partner relationships and communicate effectively (written and spoken) with team members
    Experience with budgeting, forecasting, accruals, and financial reporting.
    A keen strategic point of view and the ability to write and present strategic presentations
    Knowledge of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial controls.
    Experience with Coupa, Zip, uSurv, or similar procurement and finance systems.
    Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets and Google Workspace.
    Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse stakeholders.
    Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and commitment to accuracy.
    Self-starter with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and strong sense of ownership.
    Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
    Passion for improving processes, driving operational efficiency, and supporting high-performing teams in a dynamic environment.
