Assists in the continuity of patient care delivery within an assigned area by providing direct personal care, rehabilitative measures, and supportive services. Working knowledge of direct patient care Basic knowledge of Unit Secretary functions.

BLS - American Heart Association

Licensure, Registration, Certification:

 

Certified Nursing Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant

Responsibilities:

Performs as a Unit Secretary at least 50% of the time and functions as a Nursing Assistant as assigned. Performs clerical and reception duties to maintain efficient operation of the department. Assists in the continuity of patient care delivery within an assigned area by providing direct personal care, rehabilitative measures, and supportive services.
