Hourly Pay Range (Minimum - Midpoint - Maximum):

$25.000 - $28.290 - $33.480

This position is covered by a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) with SEIU.

This position was originally posted to ratified SEIU members from 07/28/26 - 08/05/26. The position is now available to be filled by internal candidates that are not members of the ratified Bargaining Unit or External candidates to Sharp.

What You Will Do

Performs primary clerical and other duties as assigned under the direction of the RN on the nursing units.

Required Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent
• Previous clerical experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 Year of healthcare and/or hospital unit secretary.

Other Qualification Requirements

• Certificate from recognized Unit Secretary course desirable. - PREFERRED

Facilitation of unit communication including telephone and answering patient call lights.

Maintenance of unit supplies.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of medical terminology and charting abbreviations.
