    Description

    The Unit Manager / Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) assists the Director of Nursing in overseeing and managing the clinical operations of the Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). This position is responsible for supervising nursing staff, ensuring quality resident care, maintaining regulatory compliance, and supporting the daily operations of the nursing department.
     
    The Unit Manager / ADON may be responsible for managing a designated nursing unit while serving as part of the facility's nursing leadership team.
     
    Qualifications:
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
    • Previous supervisory, Unit Manager, Charge Nurse, ADON, or nursing leadership experience preferred
    • Strong knowledge of SNF/LTC regulations, clinical standards, and survey requirements
    • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, MDS, care planning, and infection prevention preferred
    • Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, state survey processes, and long-term care compliance
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
    • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
