Antepartum/Postpartum | Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC)
The Antepartum/Postpartum Unit at BIDMC provides comprehensive inpatient care for antepartum and postpartum patients and their newborns. The unit consists of 62 private patient rooms across three units on two floors, designed to support safe, high-quality, family-centered care. Services include antepartum and postpartum care supported by a shared Level 1 newborn nursery divided into two functional areas.
About the Role
The Unit Coordinator serves as a central resource for communication and coordination within the Antepartum/Postpartum Unit. Working closely with nurses and other members of the care team, this role helps support daily operations, patient flow, and exceptional service while contributing to a positive experience for patients, families, and visitors.
What You'll Do
Coordinate and support day-to-day unit operations in a fast-paced inpatient environment.
Partner with nursing staff to facilitate patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
Serve as a communication liaison between patients, families, visitors, and the interdisciplinary care team.
Maintain accurate patient information and support administrative workflows.
Assist in creating an organized, efficient, and welcoming environment for patients and staff.
Provide outstanding customer service in every interaction.

The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time.
