Industrial Assembler – Unit & Panel Builder
Job Description:We are looking for mechanically inclined individuals to help build and assemble large industrial air conditioning and air handling units. This hands-on position involves assembling metal panels, installing components, measuring materials, and using various hand and power tools.Job Duties:
- Assemble large industrial units, panels, walls, and structural components.
- Measure, cut, and fit materials according to specifications.
- Install insulation, motors, fans, coils, and other components.
- Use drills, rivet guns, impact wrenches, saws, and other hand tools.
- Follow assembly drawings and maintain a clean, safe work area.
Requirements:- MUST be able to read a tape measure accurately down to 1/16 of an inch.
- Mechanically inclined with good attention to detail.
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, construction, or hands-on experience preferred.
- Blueprint reading experience is a plus.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. independently and work with a team to lift panels weighing up to 175 lbs.
- Able to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, and pull throughout the shift.
- Comfortable climbing ladders when needed.
