    Job Summary

    Under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Unit Manager and as a member of a patient care team, performs routine, delegated tasks in supply, equipment care, and errands, responding to basic patient safety, comfort and requests. These tasks contribute to meeting the daily needs of patients and the work area and are performed within all existing regulatory and hospital standards, policies and procedures. Reports to Unit Manager.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
    • Demonstrates an ability to read, write, and speak English, perform basic arithmetic and follow instructions.
    • Demonstrates effective communication skills appropriate to role expectations.
