What You'll Be Doing:

• 
  
• Process accurate and timely weekly payroll for union and non-union employees
• 
  
• Certified payroll processing
• 
  
• Interpret and apply multiple union agreements, wage rates, and benefit requirements
• 
  
• Ensure proper calculation of wages, deductions, overtime, and fringe benefits
• 
  
• Prepare and submit union reports and benefit payments
• 
  
• Handle certified payroll and prevailing wage requirements as applicable
• 
  
• Reconcile payroll and related general ledger accounts
• 
  
• Maintain accurate employee payroll records and resolve payroll discrepancies
• 
  
• Work closely with HR, accounting, and field operations to ensure payroll accuracy
• 
  
• Assist with payroll audits, reporting, and year-end processes
• 
  
• Stay current on changes to union agreements, wage rates, and applicable payroll regulations
• 
  

What We're Looking For:

• 
  
• 3+ years of hands-on payroll experience
• 
  
• Union payroll experience is highly required
• 
  
• Construction, mechanical, or other skilled-trades industry experience strongly preferred
• 
  
• Experience with certified payroll and/or prevailing wage requirements is a must
• 
  
• Strong understanding of payroll compliance, deductions, overtime, and fringe benefits
• 
  
• Experience with payroll/ERP systems
• 
  
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• 
  
• Ability to manage sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality
• 
  
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with employees and internal teams
•
