Underwriting Shared Services Intern - Summer 2027
Are you a talented freshman or sophomore college student looking to get your foot in the door in the insurance industry? Are you a go-getter with high initiative and a positive attitude? If so, this summer 2027 opportunity could be a great fit for you!
What You'll Do: As the Underwriting (UW) Shared Services Intern you will assist Staff Underwriters from within the UW Shared Services department. The department supports personal lines, commercial lines, and ag underwriting teams. You will have project opportunities within the Underwriting department, with potential to assist with opportunities in other departments. These may include responsibilities to support our business units.
As an intern, you will also participate in corporate activities designed to provide exposure to our industry, organization, and culture. Our internship program follows an 80/10/10 approach:
- 80% of your time will be spent performing meaningful work and project-based assignments within your department.
- 10% of your time will be dedicated to learning from and networking with employees in other areas of the organization.
- 10% of your time will be spent participating in shared internship experiences that provide insight into our culture, leadership, and business operations.
