AXIS’ Excess & Surplus (E&S) Property Division operates within one of the most complex and dynamic areas of the E&S insurance market. The team partners closely with wholesale brokers, facultative reinsurance markets, and internal stakeholders to deliver disciplined underwriting solutions that support profitable growth, strong client relationships, and long-term portfolio stability.
This role contributes through independent underwriting execution, technical expertise, and proactive book management. The Underwriter supports profitability and growth objectives by underwriting complex E&S Property risks, expanding existing broker relationships, and executing underwriting and marketing strategies aligned with AXIS’ risk appetite. The role also contributes by collaborating with internal business partners and sharing expertise to support overall team performance.

For this position, we currently expect to offer a base salary in the range of $85,000 to 105,000. Your salary offer will be based on an assessment of a variety of factors including your specific experience and work location.
