Drewry Site Development is hiring a full-time Underground Utility Pipe Layer for civil construction projects throughout Volusia County and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
- Install storm drainage, water, and sewer piping
- Set pipe to the proper line, grade, and elevation
- Assist with trench preparation, bedding, connections, and backfilling
- Use lasers, levels, hand tools, and pipe-laying equipment
- Follow plans, specifications, and foreman instructions
- Maintain a safe and productive job site
Requirements
- Previous underground utility or pipe-laying experience preferred
- Knowledge of trench safety and proper pipe installation
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Dependable with a strong work ethic
- Able to work outdoors and lift up to 50 pounds
- Must follow PPE and safety requirements
- Drug-free workplace
Schedule and Pay
- Full-time, five days per week
- Typical hours: 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Overtime available
- Pay based on experience
