    About the Role

    Stocks General Contractors is seeking an experienced and driven Foreman to lead field crews across our civil construction projects.

    This role is critical to ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can manage crews, coordinate daily operations, and maintain accountability on active job sites.

    What You’ll Do

    Lead and supervise field crews on underground utility and civil construction projects
    Plan and coordinate daily work activities to meet project schedules and deadlines
    Read and interpret plans, blueprints, and specifications
    Ensure proper installation of utilities including water, sewer, storm drain, electrical, and communications systems
    Monitor job site safety and enforce OSHA and company safety standards
    Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and inspectors
    Track production, materials, and equipment usage
    Identify and resolve issues to keep projects on schedule
    Train and mentor crew members to improve performance and skill development

    What We’re Looking For

    5+ years of experience in civil construction or underground utilities
    Proven leadership experience managing crews and job site operations
    Strong understanding of plans, grades, and construction methods
    Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
    Strong communication and problem-solving skills
    Commitment to safety, quality, and accountability

    Preferred

    Experience on commercial, industrial, or government projects
    Knowledge of scheduling and production tracking
    Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

    Certifications Required

    OSHA 30-Hour Certification
    Confined Space Training
    Trenching & Excavation Awareness

    Preferred:
    Rigging and Signaling Certification
    First Aid/CPR Certification

    Physical Requirements

    Ability to perform physical tasks as needed to support the crew
    Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods
    Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs when required

    Schedule & Pay

    Full-Time | Hourly or Salary (based on experience)
    Monday–Friday (8–10 hour shifts; occasional weekends or night work required)
    Competitive pay based on experience + performance incentives
