Tanknology a United Uptime Services Company a fast-growing leader in the petroleum services industry is looking for experienced energetic hardworking Field Service Technician Apprentice. As an Underground Storage Tank UST Inspector Trainee you will receive on-the-job training to gain a comprehensive understanding of fuel management for facilities with above and below-ground storage systems. This role involves learning about the equipment documentation and procedures necessary for conducting inspection.

What Youll Do
• Drive a company service vehicle to customer locations often on a designated route • Perform inspections of fueling facilities including visual observations and site surveys • Provide on-site training to customers or company staff • Conduct limited maintenance tasks based on site conditions • Capture inspection results using customized data collection software on handheld devices or laptops
What Were Looking For
Mechanical aptitude with experience in trades HVAC plumbing mechanics electricians carpenters or cable technicians preferred Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physical tasks stooping bending kneeling Comfortable climbing 20 ft extension ladders multiple times daily Basic computer skills for data entry Effective communication skills Passion for Safety A commitment to safety is non-negotiable. Youll prioritize safety in all aspects of your work ensuring a secure environment for yourself and your team. Hands-On Attitude Youre not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty. Customer Service Driven Available to be on call and capable of completing all work efficiently while maintaining strong client relationships Ability to travel across multiple states occasionally staying overnight hotel and generous per diem provided
A Strong Educational Foundation High school diploma or GED required Pre-Employment Testing Must pass drug test background physical and MVR check.
