The Ferguson Lab, within the Department of Mechanical Engineering at CU Boulder, is seeking a temporary, undergraduate research assistant to support an active bone research program.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

Primary duties center on dissecting mouse hindlimbs from a prior International Space Station spaceflight experiment, carefully isolating bones and associated soft tissues following established protocols. The research assistant may also perform microCT imaging of mouse bone samples, conduct biological analyses of mouse tissues, and manage samples, including maintaining accurate inventories and packing and shipping tissues to external collaborators.
