Must have:- Guard card (please do not apply if you don't have a guard card)- Must have reliable transportationMust be: - 18 years + - Willing to follow procedure and company policy - Willing to work with a focused team and follow the supervisor's commands Essential Physical and Mental Functions: - Must be able to work 2-way radios- Be present on the property as a crime deterrent- Be hands-on and able to de-escalate situations- Must be able to handle stressful situations- Read, understand, and write and speak English; constantly use speech and hearing- Work in various environments, including adverse outdoor conditions- Constant mental alertness and attention to detail are required while setting priorities and following up on assignments- Must possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public professionally and effectively; must be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines- Must be able to frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.- Is to form a partnership with the community to provide safety, security and protect property through neighborhood patrols, uniformed officers assigned to properties and to improve life & business of California residents.
