Unanet Implementation Support Specialist

This individual will serve as a key resource throughout the project lifecycle, partnering with Finance, Accounting, Contracts, Project Management, and IT teams to ensure successful deployment, configuration, testing, and adoption of the Unanet platform. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs.

Kforce has a client in Bethesda, MD that is seeking an Unanet Implementation Support Specialist. Position Summary: Our client is seeking a highly skilled Unanet Implementation Consultant to support two large-scale Unanet implementations. This individual will serve as a key resource throughout the project lifecycle, partnering with Finance, Accounting, Contracts, Project Management, and IT teams to ensure successful deployment, configuration, testing, and adoption of the Unanet platform. Duties:

• Support the planning, execution, and successful delivery of two concurrent Unanet implementation projects
• Partner with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements
• Configure and optimize Unanet modules based on organizational needs and best practices
• Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions with finance, accounting, contracts, project management, and executive leadership teams
• Review current business processes and recommend improvements aligned with Unanet functionality
• Assist with data migration activities, including mapping, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation
• Develop and execute testing strategies, including system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and issue resolution
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure successful integrations with payroll, HRIS, CRM, ERP, and other business systems
• Create project documentation, process maps, training materials, and standard operating procedures
• Provide end user training and post go live support
• Monitor implementation milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies
• Partner with implementation vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure timelines and deliverables are achieved
• Support change management efforts and drive user adoption across departments

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience supporting ERP, project accounting, or financial system implementations
• 3+ years of direct Unanet implementation experience
• Hands on experience with at least one full lifecycle Unanet implementation from planning through post go live support
• Strong understanding of project accounting, billing, labor costing, revenue recognition, and financial reporting
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into system configurations
• Experience with testing, data migration, and end user training
• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMP, CPA, or related certification preferred
• Experience supporting multiple concurrent Unanet implementations
• Government contracting experience
• Knowledge of DCAA compliance requirements
• Experience with Unanet ERP GovCon and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) modules
• Experience integrating Unanet with systems such as Deltek Costpoint, ADP, UKG, Workday, Salesforce, or other enterprise applications
