We are seeking a full-time Ultrasound Technologist to join a patient-focused healthcare team in Seaside, Oregon. This night-shift position performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations ordered by physicians while adapting imaging techniques to each patient's clinical, age-related, and individual needs.
The ideal candidate will combine strong technical ultrasound skills with attention to image quality, patient safety, and compassionate care. New graduates who meet board-eligibility and temporary Oregon licensing requirements are encouraged to apply.
Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with physician orders and established imaging protocols.
Operate and maintain proficiency with advanced ultrasound equipment.
Obtain high-quality diagnostic images while considering each patient's condition, age, mobility, and other individual needs.
Provide professional, respectful, and patient-centered care throughout examinations.
Follow applicable clinical, safety, documentation, and regulatory standards.
Collaborate effectively with physicians and other members of the healthcare team.
Education sufficient to meet applicable certification, licensing, and registration requirements.
Board eligible for certification through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
Oregon Sonographer license or Oregon Sonographer Temporary license upon hire.
Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
ARDMS national certification within 180 days of hire.
New graduates must be ARDMS board eligible upon hire and earn certification within six months.
New graduates must hold an Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) temporary license upon hire and obtain permanent licensure within six months.
Two years of clinical diagnostic ultrasound experience.
Two years of OB/GYN sonography experience preferred where applicable to the assigned imaging position.
