Ultrasound Technologist

If assigned to FED Departments must be ARRT in Radiography AND Registered Sonographer through ARDMS, ARRT OR CCI. If not registered with ARDMS, ARRT OR CCI as a Sonographer, Registry must be obtained within 6 months of entry into position.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology or Medical Diagnostic Ultrasound program
• Working knowledge of Sonography

Licensure/Registration/Certification:

• BLS

  Registry through ARDMS, ARRT ORCCI as a Registered Sonographer.    

  If not registered with ARDMS, ARRT OR CCI as a Sonographer, Registry must be obtained within 6 months of entry into position. 

  If assigned to FED Departments must be ARRT in Radiography AND Registered Sonographer through ARDMS, ARRT OR CCI.

Desired Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of second modality  

 

Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices to produce clinical diagnostic images.
