Ultrasound Technologist, Breast Care Services

AS THE ULTRASOUND TECHNOLOGIST, you'll be responsible for supporting the imaging department by performing diagnostic ultrasound exams by following ACR guidelines. Under the direction of the Physician/Supervisor, the sonographer must be able to complete all assigned duties and perform proper scans as per set protocols. The sonographer will assist the Radiologist and Physician during interventional procedures and with clerical duties when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must be registered by ARDMS and complete registry within one (1) year after starting in role
• Certified in specialized health related field by ARDMS, abdomen, and/or OB/GYN
• Healthcare Provider CPR certification must be obtained within six (6) months of hire date
• One (1) to three (3) years experience in related field preferred
• Vascular and breast registry by ARDMS required within one (1) year of hire
