Job Summary:
  • Perform high-quality general ultrasound exams to support accurate diagnosis and patient care.
  • Work collaboratively with radiologists, nurses, and the imaging team.
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and clear communication throughout the exam.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform general ultrasound studies according to protocols and physician orders.
  • Produce clear, diagnostically useful images and optimize settings as needed.
  • Verify patient identity, obtain relevant history, and explain procedures.
  • Document findings and complete required measurements and annotations.
  • Assist radiologists with procedures and provide real-time imaging support.
  • Maintain and clean ultrasound equipment and exam rooms.
  • Follow infection control, radiation safety, and department policies.
  • Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement activities.
Must-Haves:
  • ARRT registered as a Radiologic Technologist and/or Registered in Ultrasound (RDMS), or registry eligible in Ultrasound.
  • One or more years of experience in general ultrasound.
  • Current BCLS certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in additional modalities such as vascular, OB/GYN, or small parts.
  • Familiarity with PACS and RIS systems.
  • Strong patient care, communication, and teamwork skills.
Schedule and Pay:
  • Full-time position with variable shifts based on department needs.
  • May include occasional call, evenings, or weekends.
