Description
University Physicians' Association is excited to welcome a skilled and compassionate full-time Ultrasound Technician to join University Women's Specialists, conveniently located on the main UT Medical Center campus in Knoxville. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment focused on delivering exceptional care to obstetrical and gynecology patients.
What You'll Do:
Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging for abdominal and pelvic ultrasounds on OB/GYN patients
Conduct perinatal ultrasounds, including fetal anatomical surveys, Doppler studies, and assessments of fetal well-being
Assist physicians during in-office procedures requiring ultrasound guidance
Provide clear, compassionate explanations of procedures while addressing patient questions and concerns
Travel periodically to satellite offices within the Knoxville area, as needed
Document findings accurately using the electronic medical records system
Communicate professionally and effectively with providers and care team members
Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and all office policies
Support clinic operations by assisting with workflow and other duties to ensure excellent patient care
Work confidently and independently while remaining a strong team player
