What You’ll Do
  • Verify physician orders and ensure accuracy of procedures
  • Explain ultrasound procedures to patients for clear understanding
  • Operate ultrasound equipment independently following protocol
  • Assist radiologists during guided procedures
  • Review images for diagnostic quality prior to transmission
  • Complete quality control procedures complying with regulatory standards
  • Maintain departmental operations including inventory and equipment
  • Adapt communication and behavior to suit diverse patient populations

What You Need
  • Required:
    • ARDMS registration in Abdominal and OB-Gyn ultrasound or Cardiac Sonography
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
    • 2+ years of sonographer experience
    • Maternal Fetal Medicine experience preferred
    • Proficiency in computer and software use
    • Ability to work flexible hours (including weekends, holidays, on-call)
  • Preferred:
    • RVT certification within two years of hire
    • Knowledge of relevant anatomy and ultrasound pathology
