Title: UKG Workforce Management Consultant
Location: Remote - ET/CT Hours
Compensation: $60 - 75/HR

INSPYR Solutions is seeking an experienced UKG Workforce Management Consultant to support a UKG optimization and configuration initiative for our client.
The consultant will support the redesign, configuration, and implementation of updated workforce management policies and system functionality, with a primary focus on attendance management, employee communication, leave accruals, and overtime calculations.
This engagement requires hands-on UKG configuration experience, an understanding of workforce management and payroll processes, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective system solutions.
The consultant will work alongside client stakeholders to execute the updated change order scope, validate configurations, support testing, and help prepare the organization for the updated policy and system rollout.
Key Responsibilities
Attendance Management: Redesign and configure attendance policies, including milestone-based perfect attendance rewards, probationary attendance controls, and standardized corrective action thresholds.
Employee Notifications & Reporting: Implement automated attendance point notifications and develop reporting capabilities that provide HR visibility into attendance activity, compliance, and reward eligibility.
Leave & Benefit Accruals: Reconfigure sick leave accrual rules to calculate earned time based on hours worked, supporting consistent accrual practices across the organization.
Overtime Configuration: Update overtime calculation rules to exclude non-worked pay codes, holiday credits, and other qualifying premium hours in accordance with the revised overtime policy effective January 1.
System Configuration & Testing: Translate business requirements into UKG configurations, validate system functionality, troubleshoot discrepancies, and support user acceptance testing.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with HR, payroll, and technical stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood, configurations align with business objectives, and implementation milestones are achieved.
Implementation Support: Assist with documentation, deployment preparation, issue resolution, and post-implementation stabilization.
Required Qualifications
Hands-on experience configuring and supporting UKG Workforce Management solutions.
Strong understanding of attendance policies, attendance points, and corrective action workflows.
Experience configuring payroll rules, overtime calculations, pay codes, and timekeeping functionality.
Familiarity with leave management, sick time accruals, and benefits-related configuration.
Experience developing or modifying workforce management reports.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical configurations.
Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with business stakeholders.
Experience supporting system testing, validation, and implementation activities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with UKG Pro Workforce Management / UKG Dimensions.
Previous experience supporting HRIS, payroll, or workforce management optimization initiatives.
Experience with policy redesign and system configuration within complex enterprise environments.
