Description

We are looking for a UiPath IXP / Intelligent Document Processing specialist with 8+ years of overall experience.

  • Hands-on 3+ years of experience with UiPath IXP (Communications Mining, Generative AI extraction), UiPath Document Understanding.
  • Exposure to UiPath Automation Cloud, Action Center, Orchestrator, AI Center, or integration with downstream automation workflows.
  • Strong understanding of document extraction, classification, OCR, validation workflows, and human-in-the-loop review processes.
  • Experience in requirements analysis, field mapping, taxonomy definition, and extraction schema design.
  • Prompt engineering skills for defining clear extraction instructions and improving generative extraction outcomes.
  • Ability to analyze business documents and define training, validation, and testing datasets for model improvement.
  • Knowledge of model evaluation metrics, confidence thresholds, exception handling, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Good understanding of agile delivery practices, sprint execution, backlog grooming, and iterative solution development.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Open to travel upto 10%

Key Responsibilities:

  • Onboard new document forms into UiPath IXP / IDP, including setup, configuration, taxonomy definition, and extraction schema alignment.
  • Maintain and enhance already onboarded IXP forms by monitoring extraction performance, resolving issues, and incorporating new document variations.
  • Analyze document samples to identify field extraction requirements, data patterns, validation needs, and model training opportunities.
  • Create, refine, and test prompts/instructions to improve extraction accuracy for complex and unstructured documents.
  • Support model training, validation, testing, and performance evaluation using representative document datasets.
  • Collaborate with business SMEs, product owners, architects, and delivery teams to clarify requirements and translate them into implementable IXP solutions.
  • Participate in agile delivery ceremonies, provide status updates, manage backlog items, and support iterative releases.
  • Document configuration details, assumptions, validation outcomes, known exceptions, and support procedures for operational readiness.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The base salary for this position is between $120,000 and $150,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
