About the Role
The UI/UX Full-Stack Developer brings a designer's eye and full-stack range to Perry Homes' customer-facing digital properties. Using discretion and independent judgment, this developer builds and runs perryhomes.com on Contentstack and Next.js, with Marketing as the primary customer and the goal of a fast, accessible site that Marketing can mostly run on its own. The developer also partners with Customer Experience on MyAccount, our customer portal, and owns the Figma-based design system that keeps those properties consistent.
The primary focus is Next.js (React, TypeScript) with Contentstack as the headless CMS. Later work extends to Angular with .NET (C#/ASP.NET Core) Web APIs, our standard for internal and future custom apps. The team works in two-week sprints in Azure DevOps with business-owned UAT, Salesforce and Dynamics 365 integrations behind the scenes, and AI-assisted development as part of everyday work. Perry Homes does not build software for sale; what you build serves homebuyers and internal teams directly.
What You"ll Do
- Build and run perryhomes.com on Next.js, React, and TypeScript with Contentstack, and design, build, and refine customer-facing features on MyAccount.
- Partner with Marketing and CX stakeholders to shape ideas into wireframes, prototypes, and production UI they have approved.
- Own the Figma-based design system (components, tokens, patterns) and keep it in sync with code so customer-facing properties look and feel like one brand.
- Model Contentstack content and build reusable components so Marketing can create and publish most pages without developer help.
- Build and maintain logged-in user experiences, including sessions, SSO or OAuth, and protected routes.
- Build and support Angular applications backed by .NET (C#/ASP.NET Core) Web APIs, helping establish good patterns as Angular becomes the standard for custom apps.
- Own measurable results on performance (Core Web Vitals), technical SEO, and accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA) for every release.
- Use AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent) daily to prototype, write, test, and document code.
- Deliver in two-week sprints in Azure DevOps: estimate work, write clear pull requests, review teammates' code, and ship through Git, CI/CD, and automated tests.
- Support business-owned UAT by walking stakeholders through changes and turning feedback into fixes quickly.
- Monitor and improve customer-facing properties in production, resolving issues and reducing UX friction.
