Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with 4–8 years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with 2–6 years of relevant experience. Type: 6 months + Contract To Hire
Work Model: Onsite
Security Clearance: Top Secret/SCI with the ability to successfully pass a Polygraph examination

Essential Responsibilities

• UI/UX Design & Implementation: Design and develop intuitive, responsive user interfaces for web-based applications
• User Experience Optimization: Translate complex workflows into simple, efficient user experiences that improve usability and adoption
• Front-End Development: Build and maintain front-end components using modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or similar)
• Usability & Accessibility: Ensure applications meet usability standards and accessibility best practices
• Design Systems: Contribute to and maintain consistent design patterns, components, and style guides
• User Research & Feedback: Gather and incorporate user feedback to continuously improve interface design and functionality
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with backend engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to align UI/UX with system capabilities
• Performance Optimization: Improve front-end performance, responsiveness, and scalability

Basic Qualifications

• US Citizenship is required per contract
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with 4–8 years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with 2–6 years of relevant experience
• Strong experience with front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
• Experience with modern UI frameworks (React, Angular, etc.)
• Demonstrated experience designing user-centered interfaces for complex applications
• Understanding of UX principles, usability, and interaction design
• Experience working in Linux-based environments
• Ability to translate user needs into functional design solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Grafana or similar)
• Familiarity with REST APIs and backend integration
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and front-end deployment workflows
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Experience designing and developing intuitive user interfaces for data-driven GEOINT applications.
