Akkodis is seeking a UI/UX Designer for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI (Hybrid). The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, and release of automotive upper body sheet metal structures from concept through production, ensuring compliance with safety, durability, manufacturing, and vehicle performance requirements.
Rate Range: $55/Hour to $65/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
UI/UX Designer Job Responsibilities include:
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack applications using Python and modern front-end frameworks such as React or Angular.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, designers, and architects, to deliver scalable and user-centric software solutions.
Develop and maintain back-end services, APIs, and microservices while ensuring application performance, reliability, and security.
Build responsive and interactive user interfaces using HTML, CSS/SCSS, and modern web development best practices.
Implement and support CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native solutions on GCP, and infrastructure automation using Terraform and GitHub Actions.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues, optimize application performance, and evaluate emerging technologies to improve development efficiency and business outcomes.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
6+ years of IT experience with a minimum of 4+ years of hands-on software development experience.
Strong experience in full-stack development using Python, React and/or Angular, including Flask/FastAPI, API development, and responsive web applications.
Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), SQL databases, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, and modern software engineering best practices, including security and performance optimization.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $65.00 per hour
