What Does the Team Do
Product for operations team for managing brokerage services for Operations users (OWS).
Team is building a next-generation brokerage platform from scratch, with a long-term vision to potentially replace legacy mainframe systems. In the near term, the platform partners with banks and financial firms for trading workflows. All crypto-related flows also pass through this ecosystem ("The Greens”).
This initiative is part of Fidelity Center for Applied Technologies (FCAT) under the Green Meadows program, focused on building a modern, cloud-native brokerage platform from the ground up.

Role Overview
As part of the Green Meadows program, you will work as a Senior Developer responsible for building web applications for operations users and end customers. You will design and develop features, participate in code reviews and deployments, and collaborate with multiple stakeholders across engineering and business teams.
This is a high-impact opportunity to work on a greenfield brokerage platform initiative within Fidelity's FCAT organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop UI features for brokerage web applications
• Build scalable and maintainable frontend architecture
• Work with UX/UI specifications, wireframes, and visual designs
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment
• Ensure high performance, accessibility, and usability standards
• Contribute to modernization of brokerage systems

Required Technical Skills

• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular preferred; React/Vue acceptable)
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills
• HTML/CSS expertise with accessibility and cross-browser compatibility
• Experience with Git/version control systems
• Ability to translate UX designs into functional UI components
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in complex, distributed system environments
• Understanding of scalable, maintainable frontend architecture
• Strong attention to quality and engineering standards

Nice to Have

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Exposure to financial services or trading platforms
• Familiarity with investment or brokerage domain concepts
