The candidate will be part of a team focused on building a modern brokerage platform from scratch. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of a next-generation cloud-based brokerage platform that will provide enhanced functionality, scalability, and an improved experience for both operations teams and end customers.
The ideal candidate will serve as a Senior Developer within a squad responsible for building web applications for operations users and end customers. Responsibilities include designing and developing features, conducting code reviews, managing deployments, and collaborating with stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced financial services environment while gaining exposure to new technologies and business functionality.
Experience developing and maintaining applications using modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React.js, or Vue.js (Angular preferred)
Strong practical understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript
Proficiency in HTML and CSS, including accessibility standards and cross-browser compatibility
Experience with Git and version control systems
Ability to collaborate effectively with individuals and teams in both in-person and virtual environments
Ability to design and implement scalable, maintainable solutions
Experience developing user interfaces from wireframes, visual designs, and UX specifications
Commitment to delivering high-quality solutions and maintaining development standards
Strong collaboration and communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Eagerness to learn new technologies and expand business and technical knowledge
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to understand and work within complex enterprise systems
Basic understanding of investment concepts and financial industry practices is desirable

5+ years of professional software development experience
