UI Developer / Angular Developer

We are seeking an experienced UI Developer / Angular Developer to join a Consumer Banking modernization program. The team will be responsible for supporting existing applications while preparing for modernization and development of next-generation capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have strong Angular expertise and preferably be capable of contributing across the full technology stack.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive enterprise web applications using Angular.
• Build reusable and scalable UI components.
• Collaborate with Java backend developers, database engineers, ETL teams, and business stakeholders.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and enterprise services.
• Translate business and technical requirements into effective UI solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and UI issues.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and Agile development activities.
• Support application migration and modernization initiatives.
• Ensure applications provide a consistent and user-friendly experience.
• Support deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting activities when required.
• Follow enterprise standards for security, performance, maintainability, and accessibility.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Angular.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience developing enterprise-scale web applications.
• Experience consuming and integrating REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of responsive UI development.
• Experience with source control and Agile/Scrum development.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Java backend development experience.
• Full-stack development experience.
• Experience with Oracle or relational databases.
• Experience with Camunda or workflow-driven applications.
• Experience supporting application modernization or migration programs.
• Financial services or consumer banking experience.
• Experience with CI/CD and application deployment processes.

Location

Charlotte, NC 5 days onsite preferred/expected.

Ideal Candidate

Candidates who can operate beyond pure UI development and understand backend services, APIs, deployments, and application architecture are strongly preferred. The program is designed around vertical ownership and minimizing technology silos.
