Required Skills &
Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 5+ years of experience in
UI design for web applications.
- Strong proficiency in
Figma, including component libraries, auto-layout, and prototyping.
- Portfolio demonstrating
high-fidelity UI design work and an end-to-end design process.
- Experience designing complex,
data-rich applications (dashboards, workflow tools, form-heavy interfaces).
- Solid understanding
of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Experience with design systems
and component-based design.
- Ability to work collaboratively
with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers.
- Strong communication skills
with the ability to articulate design rationale.
- Excellent interpersonal,
presentation, and written/verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Strong work ethic and track
record of achieving business goals and on-time deliverables.
- Flexible approach and
willingness to wear multiple hats to innovate and navigate ambiguity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business,
computer science, technology, or a related field.
- Experience in healthcare,
pharmacy, or clinical software environments.
- Familiarity
with HIPAA considerations in software design.
- Background in conducting user
research and usability testing.
- Understanding of accessibility
standards (WCAG).
Additional Information
- Reports to: Manager, Software
Development.
- Team environment: Will
join a Lead UI Designer on a dedicated application development team
consisting of Product Managers, Developers, and Business Analysts.
- The team is building a new
clinical patient management system (SWFTx).
- Candidates must be able to
provide a portfolio demonstrating high-fidelity UI design work and an
end-to-end design process.

Overview
We are seeking a UI Designer to
join Software team and play a key role in building SWFTx, a next-generation
clinical patient management system. This role focuses on translating complex
clinical workflows into intuitive, user-centered interfaces by producing
high-fidelity UI designs and prototypes in close partnership with product,
development, and clinical operations teams.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Design high-fidelity screen
prototypes and UI specifications for SWFTx features and workflows.
- Collaborate with product
managers, developers, and clinical operations stakeholders to understand
requirements and translate them into effective design solutions.
- Create wireframes, user flows,
interaction designs, and clickable prototypes using Figma.
- Develop and maintain a
consistent design system, including components, patterns, and style
guidelines.
- Conduct user research and
usability testing with internal operations staff to validate designs and identify
improvement opportunities.
- Iterate on designs based on
feedback from stakeholders, users, and development constraints.
- Partner with the existing Lead
UI / Figma designer to ensure design consistency and shared best practices.
- Document design decisions and
hand off specifications to development teams.
- Advocate for user-centered
design principles throughout the product development lifecycle.
