Job Summary for UI Adjudicator (Benefits and Eligibility Specialist)
- Review and assess applications for public assistance programs.
- Determine applicant and recipient eligibility through interactive interviews and fact gathering.
- Verify accuracy and completeness of submitted application forms.
- Communicate effectively with applicants, recipients, and relevant stakeholders to resolve concerns and provide guidance on available benefits.
- Explain program rules and policies to claimants, employers, representatives, and agencies.
- Advise applicants on suitable assistance programs and assist in accessing benefits.
- Perform follow-ups with applicants as needed to gather additional information.
- Attend off-site meetings, training sessions, or conferences as required (occasional travel).
- Complete an intensive 7-week in-person training program.
- Potential transition to Full-Time Employment after training period.
- Maintain strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ensure compliance with background checks and drug screenings.
- Work onsite at designated Phoenix, AZ location with reliable transportation.
- Provide exceptional customer service (minimum 2 years' experience required).
- Preferred: Experience in eligibility reviews and/or insurance adjudication.
- Must be able to start by 10/5/2026 and be local to Phoenix, AZ for in-person interviews and onboarding.
