Associate Veterinarian - GP + Urgent Care Mix Advanced Animal Hospital Wisconsin | Greenfield / Greater Milwaukee, WI

• Interest In - GP + Urgent Care Hybrid Medicine: Advanced Animal Hospital Wisconsin is looking to add another veterinarian to our established, AAHA-accredited small-animal hospital as we expand our availability into additional evening and weekend hours.

This is a great opportunity for a veterinarian who enjoys the relationships of general practice but also wants the variety and clinical challenge of urgent care. Your caseload can include wellness and preventative medicine, internal medicine, dentistry, surgery, advanced diagnostics, same-day sick visits, and more acute presentations.

You don't have to choose between GP and urgent care, here you can enjoy both.

• Hours Expansion - Let's Have the Conversation: This is a growth opportunity designed to help us expand access to care through additional evening and weekend availability, but we recognize there isn't one schedule or GP/UC mix that works for every veterinarian.

Whether you prefer primarily GP with some urgent care, a more balanced hybrid role, or have scheduling preferences that could align well with our expanded hours, we'd love to have the conversation and discuss what could work for both you and the hospital.

• Open to New Graduates or Experienced Veterinarians: We're open to a new graduate looking for mentorship and diverse case exposure or an experienced veterinarian looking for autonomy, variety, and continued clinical growth.

Our established team and broad caseload provide an environment where newer doctors can progressively build confidence while experienced DVMs can continue developing their individual interests.

• New Graduate Mentorship: New graduates benefit from our structured, one-year mentorship program with a dedicated Clinical Mentor, intentional schedule overlap, regular mentor meetings, goal-setting, virtual rounds, and professional development.

You'll also have access to our 5-day Surgical Mentorship Program, where participants typically complete approximately 20-40 surgeries, and a 2-day Dental Wet Lab led by a veterinary dental specialist.

• Experienced Veterinarian Growth: Experienced doctors will have the clinical autonomy to practice high-quality medicine while continuing to develop interests in urgent care, surgery, dentistry, ultrasound, internal medicine, or another area.

You'll also have access to our Clinical Tracks Program, offering complimentary RACE-approved CE facilitated by veterinary specialists within our network.

• Urgent Care Without Leaving GP Behind: Our hybrid model allows you to maintain long-term client relationships while also seeing more time-sensitive cases such as acute illnesses, GI concerns, wounds and injuries, urinary cases, allergic reactions, and other patients needing same-day evaluation and treatment.

Cases requiring a higher level of emergency or specialty care can be appropriately referred.

• Specialist Collaboration: Our veterinarians have access to board-certified specialists within our network for collaboration on more complex cases, providing another valuable clinical resource for both newer and experienced doctors.
• Facility & Clinical Capabilities: Our full-service, AAHA-accredited hospital offers digital radiography, ultrasound, in-house laboratory capabilities, comprehensive dentistry, surgery, advanced diagnostics, and closely monitored hospitalization, giving you the tools to thoroughly work up both GP and urgent cases.
• Supportive Team Environment: Work alongside an established team committed to compassionate patient care, communication, and collaboration, allowing our veterinarians to focus on medicine, diagnostics, procedures, and client relationships.

Who We're Looking For

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
• A valid state license and in good standing to practice.
