Salary Range: $20.00 - $21.22 per hour

The UA Coordinator oversees and conducts the collection, accountability, and transport of consumer drug and alcohol testing samples for the Co-Occurring Treatment Program within Adult Services. This role ensures proper collection procedures and chain of custody while serving as an information resource for clinical staff.
Maintain client records and demographics; coordinate with referring agencies regarding collection, accountability, and transport of drug and alcohol testing samples; collect urine samples using proper procedures and chain of custody; maintain collection supplies and records; secure samples through courier release; enter laboratory results into the EHR; safeguard PHI and client confidentiality; and participate in required staff meetings and training.
High School Diploma or equivalent. A valid California Class C Driver License is required. Candidates must be able to learn and appropriately use the EHR system and maintain knowledge of urinalysis collection, accountability, and chain-of-custody procedures.
Experience working with individuals with serious mental illness (SMI) and co-occurring conditions is valued. Strong oral and written communication skills, patience, empathy, and the ability to build trusting working relationships with clients are important for success in this role.
