U-Haul Truck and Trailer Detailer

The U-Haul Repair Shop in Madison, Wisconsin is looking for a Detailer to join our team. We're looking for someone who works well with others, has basic computer skills, communicates well, and can follow directions.

Job duties include cleaning and detailing U-Haul equipment, buffing and wet sanding headlights, and painting rims, floors, and bumpers.

Flexible daytime hours are available Monday through Friday between 5:45 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Clean and buff trucks and trailers.
• Handle damaged equipment leaving the fleet by removing decals and preparing equipment for sale.
• Use industry standard safety equipment.
• Work in a production line
• Team Members are expected to willingly lend assistance in additional areas as necessary, following the directives and guidance of their supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Driver's license
• The ability to work as part of a team as well as individually
• Regular attendance
