Position Overview:
Little Lambs Christian Academy is seeking a loving, patient, and dependable Classroom Aide to support our 2-year-old classroom. This role is ideal for someone who has a heart for young children and a desire to serve in a Christ-centered environment that nurtures both growth and faith during these important early years.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting the lead teacher with daily classroom activities
- Helping supervise children during playtime, meals, and transitions
- Supporting routines such as diapering, potty training, and nap time
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
- Encouraging positive behavior, social development, and age-appropriate learning
- Supporting Christian values through daily interactions
- Communicating respectfully with teachers and staff
Qualifications:
- A genuine love for working with young children
- Alignment with Christian values and a willingness to support a faith-based environment
- Patience, flexibility, and a positive, nurturing approach
- Prior childcare or early childhood experience preferred
- DCF 40-hour training preferred but not required
- Must be able to physically care for children, including lifting, bending, and providing active supervision

Our mission is to create well-rounded students by cultivating a Christian foundation of love, structure, and knowledge. Programs at Little Lambs include preschool, summer camp, after-school, and a plethora of enrichment activities.

John 21:15
So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.
It is well known that lambs are young sheep. As expressed in the Scripture above, Peter, a founding apostle of the Christian Faith, was not only commissioned to preach the Gospel (Matthew 28:18-20) but “feed” the young of God’s flock.
To "feed" spiritually encompasses the full care of that individual. It goes beyond the natural supply of food. This type of feeding requires nurturing, loving, protecting, and teaching.
Jesus, The Great Shepherd, connects the expression of love for Him with the care of His lambs. The Lord has revealed this to us and graced us with the heart to care for His precious young flock OR lambs. Thus, the Little Lamb's vision is to impart God, educate, feed, and love on God’s little lambs.
