Twisting Machine Operator

Overview

Join our team in the vibrant community of Newberry, SC, where we are seeking a dedicated professional to contribute to our production process. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation of our manufacturing line, focusing on safety, quality, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and conducting pre-use inspections for cranes and PIT/tuggers.
• Maintain a tidy and hazard-free work environment, promptly addressing any safety concerns.
• Efficiently manage spools and bobbins, ensuring proper handling and placement.
• Communicate effectively with Material Handlers and Supervisors to ensure material availability.
• Prepare necessary labels and production documentation.
• Discharge completed spools and replace bobbins as required, addressing wire breaks as trained.
• Conduct quality checks, including assessments of form, torsion, color, and more.
• Accurately complete all documentation related to production and quality.
• Report any material defects or trends affecting quality to the Supervisor.
• Submit weld samples promptly and assist other operators as needed.
• Perform light maintenance tasks when trained and authorized.

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Familiarity with quality control processes and documentation.
