TITLE: Tutor (starting at $30.00 per hour)
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum requrements include an Associate''s Degree or passing score on the ParaPro. Maryland teacher certification preferred.
REPORTS TO: Principal
JOB GOALS: Provide high-dosage tutoring in reading or math
ESSENTIAL PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement appropriate individual and/or small group tutoring in reading or mathematics using approved tutoring program materials.
- Collect required data for assigned tutoring program to monitor student progress.
- Work with school-based leaders and curriculum supervisors to ensure the quality of program implementation.
- Participate in professional learning as needed for effective program implementation.
- Demonstrate caring, emphatic, relationship building skills to foster student success.
- Adhere to all TCPS policies and procedures as well as school protocols.
- Act in a professional and collegial manner in all situations with students and staff.
