Position Summary Information
Job Description Summary
College Lift tutors will provide targeted instructional support both in the context of after-school tutoring and in fulfillment of personalized academic success plans. Tutors will also function to facilitate logistics at their prescribed instructional sites.
Minimum Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable providing academic and socio-emotional support to middle school and high school learners.
- Organized and reliable with the ability to follow directions and program guidelines.
- Availability to work Monday through Thursday during and/or after school.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred:
- Bachelors/associates degree or current enrollment/college coursework in education, math, science, science or a related field.
- Background supporting first-generation, low-income, or English learner students.
Essential Duties

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: including the following and other duties as needed.
- Facilitate tutoring with small groups of College Lift students at designated middle schools and high schools following students' academic success plans.
